Mabbul is the Hebrew word for “flood,” a title I return to when a painting evokes the sensation of being submerged. The works in this series explore the subconscious as a shifting current—a place where emotions, beliefs, and aspects of the self remain fluid, moving beneath the surface before fully taking shape. Mabbul #5 captures that interior state of movement, uncertainty, and becoming.
